Here is the result of the research I made for the domain Apostas.net and other domains
because I'm receiving offers and requests after the sale of a recent domain.
Related keywords listed by Average Search Volume
Single word domains, even .net have more value than two word .com,
because they have
a bigger search volume, and they allow a broader audience.
What would you rather have Money.net or:
MoneyExchange.com , MoneyMagazine.com, MoneyCurrency.com, etc ?
ApostasDesportivas.com was sold for 22500 Euros, is limited to sport,
and brasilian gamblers, the biggest portuguese speaking market,
don't use the word desporto, but esporte, so the correct domain
for them is ApostasEsportivas.com not ApostasDesportivas.com
With apostas.net I can target all niches and countries:
apostas.net/desporto or desporto.apostas.net
apostas.net/cavalos or cavalos.apostas.net
apostas.net/casino or casino.apostas.net
apostas.net/poker or poker.apostas.net
Even from interest in the 2 domains (different tld's) we can reach some conclusions
Apostas.com was initially registered in the 1990's
ApostasDesportivas.com was initially registered in 2003
ApostasDesportivas.net was available, and never registered, until 2007.
Apostas.net was already registered in 2000, and I didn't tracked it before that.
Which one is the more valuable keyword (Apostas or Apostas Desportivas) is clear.
So for Apostas.net minimum offer is XX,000 Euros
You can bid for Apostas.net at Sedo or send me an email (apostasnet@gmail.com)
X,000 offers won't be accepted. In this market we only need
a handful of customers
to make more revenue than that.
Unless I receive a unrefusable proposal for Apostas.net
I will not sell it. I'm a domain developer, not a reseller
looking for a quick return of investment.
If Apostas.net is out of your reach, I have more afordable options:
Apostas.biz , Apostar.biz, 123Apostas.com, Apuesta7.com, and ApostasVirtuais.com Minimum offer for each one is X,000 Euros
The portuguese gambling market
is growing every month, and portuguese domains are still inexpensive (not for long), so this opportunity will not last.
Interest in portuguese domains is growing everyday because
english and spanish ones are reaching high acquisition costs,
some for a million dollars and up.
I have absolutely no hurry in selling my domains, and I receive
bigger offers
everyday. Until I see one I like, I continue to develop them
with good content
to help users, while I monetize them each and every year.
